Getting Started
How do I create an account?
You can sign up using your email address or sign in with your Google or Facebook account. Visit the Sign Up page to get started.
How do I join a league?
To join a league, you'll need an invitation link from the league administrator. Click the link and follow the prompts to request to join. The administrator will review and approve your request.
Do I need to verify my email?
If you sign up with email/password, you'll receive a verification email. Click the link to verify your account. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, your email is already verified.
What happens after I create an account?
New accounts receive a welcome email with links to the most useful next steps. Players are pointed to features like match history, league position, and profile access, while league admins receive extra guidance for managing requests, meets, and results.
Managing Leagues
How do I create a league?
Once logged in, go to My Leagues and click "New League". Fill in the league details and you'll become the league administrator.
How do I add players to my league?
As a league administrator, you can share your league's join link with players. They can use this link to request to join, and you can approve them from the admin panel.
How does the ranking system work?
Court Ladder uses an ELO-based ranking system. When you record match results, player rankings are automatically updated. Winners gain points while losers lose points, with the exact amount depending on the rating difference.
Recording Matches
How do I record a match result?
League administrators and authorized users can record match results from the league page. Select the players, enter the scores, and submit. Rankings will update automatically.
Can I edit or delete a match?
Yes, administrators can edit or delete matches from the match history. Note that this will recalculate all affected player rankings.
Scheduling Meets
What are "meets"?
Meets are scheduled play sessions for your league. Create recurring or one-time meets to help coordinate when and where players will gather to play.
How do I create a recurring meet?
When creating a meet, you can set it to recur weekly on specific days. The system will automatically generate future meet instances based on your schedule.
Account Management
How do I change my password?
Visit your Profile page and use the "Change Password" option if you signed up with email/password.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us at info@biztalkers.com to request account deletion. We'll process your request in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to receive a password reset email.
Privacy & Security
How is my data protected?
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and regular security updates. Read our Privacy Policy for more details.
Who can see my information?
Your name and match results are visible to other members of leagues you join. Your email and phone number are only visible to league administrators and system administrators.
Technical Issues
The site isn't loading properly
Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, or use an incognito/private browsing window. Make sure you're using a modern, up-to-date browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).
I'm not receiving emails
Check your spam/junk folder. Add noreply@courtladder.com to your email contacts. If you still don't receive emails, contact support.
