Scoring System
Court Ladder uses a simple and transparent points-based scoring system to rank players.
Games Won
+1 point
For each game your team wins during a match
Match Victory
+1 bonus point
For winning the match outright (more games than opponent)
How It Works
Every player earns points based on their team's performance in each match. The scoring formula is straightforward:
Total Points = Games Won + Match Win Bonus
- Games Won: You earn 1 point for each game your team wins during the match.
- Match Win Bonus: If your team wins more games than the opposing team, you receive an additional 1 point bonus.
Example Scenarios
Scenario 1: Clear Victory (3-1)

When games are tied, neither team receives the match win bonus.
Ladder Rankings
Your position on the ladder is determined by your total accumulated points across all matches you've played in the league. The more matches you play and win, the higher you'll climb!
All players on the same team earn the same points for a match.
Tips for Climbing the Ladder
- Play consistently: Regular participation accumulates points over time.
- Win games, not just matches: Every game won counts, even if you lose the match.
- Aim for the match win: The bonus point for winning the match can make a real difference.
